Day 10: Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah, or the Festival of Lights, has been going on for the last several days, and while I personally only know a few general things about the holiday, I wanted to give it at least some attention (and hopefully some of my other posts can apply to members of the Jewish community as well)!

I do appreciate some of the traditions. Like lighting one candle per night of the 8 nights, representing another day that, according to the history of Hanukkah, the lamp in the Temple kept burning, even though they were out of oil. Plus, the food is amazing, and it is another holiday focused on spending time with family, which I love.

Sources for photos: dreidel, latkes and rolled pastries, brisket, menorah

Are there any traditions you love from Hanukkah? Or can you help me learn more about it? Let me know!
